Privacy Policy
The short version: our apps don't collect anything about you. No personal information, no analytics, no telemetry. We couldn't look at your data even if we wanted to.

Which apps this covers
This policy covers Nimble Bot, Nimble Task, Nimble Text, Nimble Photo, Nimble Albums and Nimble Name, on Mac, iPhone and iPad, including their TestFlight betas. It also applies to any future app we publish on this site.
What we collect
Nothing. Specifically, our apps have:
- No accounts or sign-ups
- No personal information collected or sent to us
- No analytics, telemetry or usage tracking
- No advertising, cookies or advertising identifiers
- No servers of our own that your data could pass through
Where your data lives
Everything you create stays on your devices, or in places you choose:
- Nimble Task stores your tasks in a plain-text file you save wherever you like.
- Nimble Text works in memory with your clipboard and only writes a file when you save one. It has no network access.
- Nimble Photo saves your choices as macOS Finder tags on your files and keeps a local cache for speed. It only sees the folders you open.
- Nimble Albums reads your Photos library, never changes it, and writes copies to the folder you choose. Photos stored only in iCloud are downloaded from Apple, under Apple's terms.
- Nimble Name analyzes your documents with the AI server you configure and renames them on your Mac.
- Nimble Bot connects directly to the Hermes Agent server you run. Your credentials are stored in Apple's Keychain on your device. Your conversations, memory and tools live on your server.
AI providers
Nimble Name and Nimble Bot work with AI models that you choose. Our apps never send your data to us, but the AI provider you use may receive it.
- Nimble Name: works with a local AI server (such as oMLX, LM Studio or Ollama) that you install separately. Your documents go only to that server and never leave your Mac. If you point it at a server hosted elsewhere, the documents you analyze are sent there.
- Nimble Bot: your messages, voice transcripts and attachments go to your own Hermes server. Depending on how you've set it up, your server may pass them on to an AI model provider. Voice transcription happens on your device.
Those providers handle your data under their own privacy policies, not this one. Please check them before connecting a cloud service.
Apple, the App Store and TestFlight
Our apps are distributed by Apple. If you've allowed it in your device settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports and usage statistics with developers. If you join a TestFlight beta, Apple shares the crash reports and any feedback you choose to send, as described in Apple's TestFlight terms. We only use this to fix bugs.
This website
nimbleapps.ch uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts. Like any web server, our hosting provider may keep standard access logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operations. We don't use them to track you.
Children
Since our apps collect no data, they are suitable for users of all ages. AI providers you connect may have their own age requirements.
Changes to this policy
If anything changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
